The interim Canada Dental Benefit is now available to help lower dental costs for eligible families with a tax-free payment of up to $650 for each eligible child.
To qualify for the first period payment:
- Your family earns less than $90,000 per year
- Your child is under 12 years old
- Your child does not have access to a private dental insurance plan
- Your child received dental care between October 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023
