In particular recognition of the labour of women, poor women and women of colour that so often goes under-paid, un-paid, and unacknowledged, Asian Women for Equality supports Motion 46 for a guaranteed livable income as advocates for the rightful share of wealth that we deserve. We see Motion 46 as an important first step toward building women's economic security, helping to enable us to escape and fight male violence against women so that we may advance sexual and racial equality.
