Join Leah Gazan, MP for Winnipeg Centre for a f virtual town hall on the climate emergency how Indigenous communities are on the front lines of a just transition. Leah will be joined by Niigaan Sinclair, Ellen Gabriel, Sadie Phoenix-Lavoie, and Kakekay Thundersky.

Indigenous peoples have been stewards of this land, we now call Canada, since time immemorial and they retain the knowledge, language and practices to lead these conversations and initiatives. We are pleased and thankful to have the participation of these esteemed Indigenous leaders on our panel and we look forward to sharing this conversation with all of you.

A follow-up focus group conversation, to further discuss these critical issues, will be held on Wednesday, January 27 at 10:30 am.  All are welcome and either or both of these events.
