On October 6th, 2025, I introduced Private Member's Bill C-247 to amend the Canada Labour Code to repeal Section 107.
Government after government has abused Section 107 to interfere with bargaining or end strikes. We need to restore the promise of collective action so workers struggling everywhere can embrace it themselves.
The right to strike and collective bargaining ensures safe working conditions and livable wages. Removing workers' right to strike is anti-democratic, anti-worker and harmful to our democracy.
Together, we can stop them from violating the rights of workers whenever it is politically convenient.
You can support the right to strike by collecting signatures to show support for defending the right to strike.
